SVOBODA provides free inseam alterations on all purchases. Simply specify that you’d like us to alter the item’s inseam to a desired length (in inches unless noted otherwise) in the “Customer Notes” section of your order form. Alterations are typically performed and shipped every Friday, so please allow an additional 7-10 days for altered items.

SVOBODA altered items cannot be returned for cash. Exchanges are permissible if a faulty or an incorrect item was sent.

Items altered by someone other than SVOBODA cannot be returned for any reason.

Standard orders will be processed, pending credit card approval, within four business days. Expedited orders placed Monday thru Friday before 9 a.m. PST (12 Noon EST) will be shipped on the day the order was placed. Expedited orders processed after this time, on a weekend or SVOBODA Holiday will be shipped the next (open) business day. 

If for some reason your order can not be filled immediately, we will notify you via e-mail. Please be sure to include to your approved senders list. Only e-mails pertaining to an order, shipment or refund from will come from this e-mail address.

Rest assured you are getting the best possible shipping rates, as SVOBODA uses real-time rates between our warehouse and the exact delivery address for both preferred carriers (UPS and the United States Postal Service USPS). Shipping methods available include:

Occasionally, we may need to remove the express shipping options because a large portion of our staff is out of the office for training, tradeshows or a public holiday. If express shipping options aren’t available, and you need the item by a specific date, it may benefit you to contact us at prior to placing the order to see when the express shipping options will become available again.

Some international shipping methods require a “Certificate of Origin.” Due to U.S. and local government office furloughs, we are not able to guarantee Certificate of Origins are available each business day. We will ship expedited international orders requiring Certificate of Origins on the first day we are able to secure one.

International Customs fees are always the responsibility of the customer.

General Returns/Exchanges Policies
We want you to be happy. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, return it within 30 days of receipt for a full refund. Items received after that date will be exchanged for a credit equal to the value of the original purchase less shipping. Unfortunately, we cannot refund or credit your original shipping charges.

Once we have received returned items, please allow us up to10 working days to process your refund. Your refund will be credited to the same card with which you made that purchase. Once processed, Paypal refunds are relatively instant, but additional time may be required for refunds to credit or debit card accounts. This time frame is dictated by your bank or card issuers, and it is outside of our control. Please allow up to two billing cycles to pass, before contacting us. If there is a problem issuing a refund to your card, our customer service team will contact you via the e-mail on the original order.

If the returned items were a gift, and you’d like to get a credit instead of a refund to the original credit card, please include this information along with your name, e-mail address and telephone number with the return. credits are sent via e-mail, so please indicated which e-mail you’d like your credit sent to with your return.

All items must be in perfect condition with original hang tags and labels attached. Worn or SVOBODA altered items cannot be returned or exchanged for cash or credit unless a faulty or an incorrect item was sent. Non-SVOBODA altered items cannot be returned for any reason. When trying on an item, please take care to ensure it is kept away from pets, pet hair, marks or scents such as food, perfume, cosmetics, deodorant, and cigarettes. We will not be able to refund any item where these instructions were not followed.

International Exchanges/Returns
SVOBODA ships to most international countries, and we do accept international exchanges and returns. On all shipments, International Customs fees are always the responsibility of the customer. For most countries, if you send us your exchanges via an alternate shipping method, we’ll pay for the shipping on the exchange back out to you. We recommend international customers contact SVOBODA’s customer service via email at to discuss their country’s return and exchange policy.

Alternate Return Shipping Method & Address
Send your exchange or return back using an alternate shipping method for no charge. Simply send the merchandise to the following address. Carriers such as FedEx, UPS, or DHL provide tracking as part their service, while USPS offers delivery confirmation for a small additional fee.

SVOBODA Social Responsibility & Supplier Code of Conduct
SVOBODA is committed to conducting all operations and businesses in a responsible manner. As we work toward a sustainable operation and growth of the company, we regularly monitor our practices on an informal basis. Since the company has begun to grow and operations expand, so has our impact on society and the environment. As a result, we have begun to establish a formal framework around SVOBODA’s social and environmental objectives and practices to control operations. Although we are in the early stages of this process, it is our ambition to develop a transparent corporate social responsibility program. The end goal of our company will always be to maximize our impact within the fashion community and our customer’s life, while reducing our impact to the earth to ensure the world is a better place for future generations.

The SVOBODA Supplier Code of Conduct, which is set forth below, outlines SVOBODA’s expectations regarding the conditions under which its products should be manufactured. SVOBODA is committed to producing high quality and ethically manufactured products at a good value to its consumers. Moreover, SVOBODA requires sound business ethics from its suppliers. SVOBODA’s commitment is to only do business with suppliers that share its commitment to fair and safe labor practices. This Code of Conduct applies to all suppliers and/or contractors providing products to SVOBODA or any SVOBODA affiliated companies.

This Code of Conduct defines SVOBODA’s minimum requirements and gives guidelines thereto. It will be subject to regular improvements and SVOBODA encourages all suppliers to improve their fair and safe labor practices continuously.

Since no code can be all-inclusive, suppliers must ensure that no abusive, exploitative conditions and practices or unsafe working conditions exist at the facilities where SVOBODA products are manufactured.

SVOBODA will not tolerate any supplier that, directly or indirectly through its sub-contractors, violates the laws of the country where the products are manufactured or knowingly violates these standards. SVOBODA will take immediate and appropriate action upon notification of such violation.

SVOBODA’s Supplier Code of Conduct:

  1. Suppliers comply with all local laws

    All standards set forth in this Code of Conduct are subject to compliance with applicable local law. All suppliers must operate in full compliance with the laws of their respective country of manufacture. If any standard in this Code of Conduct is, in the supplier’s judgment, deemed to violate an applicable law, they must advise SVOBODA promptly in writing.

    Suppliers, their subcontractors and business partners must comply with environmental rules, regulations and standards applicable to their operations, and must observe environmental conscious practices in the locations where they operate.

  2. Employment is freely chosen

    The use of forced labor of any kind, including indentured labor, is unacceptable and forbidden.

  3. Child labor is not used

    Suppliers must not engage in or support the use of child labor as defined in ILO Convention C138.

  4. No harassment or abuse is allowed

    All employees must be treated with respect and dignity. No employees must be subject to any physical, sexual, psychological or verbal harassment or abuse.

  5. No discrimination is practiced

    Factories should only employ workers on the basis of their ability to do the job, not on the basis of their personal characteristics or beliefs.

    No person must be subject to any discrimination in employment, including hiring, salary, benefits, advancement, discipline, termination or retirement, on the basis of gender, race, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, political opinion, social or ethnic origin, maternity or marital status.

  6. Wages and benefits are provided to all workers
    Suppliers must pay employees at least the minimum wage required by local law or the prevailing local industry wage (whichever is higher) and must provide legally mandated benefits.

  7. Working hours are not excessive

    Suppliers must ensure that regular working hours or overtime doesn’t exceed the legal maximum according to local law.

    In addition to their compensation for regular hours of work, employees must be compensated for overtime.

  8. Working conditions are healthy and safe

    Suppliers must provide a safe and hygienic working environment to prevent accidents and injury to health arising out of, linked with, or occurring in the course of work or as a result of the operation of suppliers’ facilities.

    SVOBODA’s Social Compliance assessments

    One of SVOBODA’s major goals will be to re-define our corporate responsibility activities and to develop solid systems to support and document them. We’ll use a combination of tools such as self-assessments, checklist assessments by SVOBODA employees and 3rd party audits to ensure that standards set by SVOBODA are followed by suppliers.

    We believe that we can only achieve fair and safe working conditions in the factories by closely working with suppliers, raising their awareness on social responsibility and ensuring that they do not experience our inspections as an examination but rather as a way to jointly improve working conditions, productivity and competitiveness of their factories.

    We believe that suppliers have to be empowered in this process in order to secure their commitment to implement the policies that enable them to comply with the Code of Conduct.
